Barry’s Case Study

Barry was suffering from androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness). In Barry’s case, there was a noticeable thinning of hair centred around the frontal lobe. This meant Barry also suffered from a receding hairline.

The first step for Barry was to arrange a consultation and visit our clinic. Once his suitability was assessed by the surgeon, we arranged a procedure date for him

Prior to the procedure Barry’s head was shaven to allow the surgeon to extract and implant the required number of grafts (2,500).

After the procedure, you can expect redness of the scalp although this will quickly reduce over the next few days

3 Weeks

Three weeks after the procedure, you can see Barry’s implanted hairs have already started to grow. It is completely natural for the hairs to shed 2-3 weeks after the procedure – the bulb of the hair remains and the implant hairs will continue to grow again.
